DR.Oogle does not itself review, rank, select or recommend dentists or dental specialists. All reviews on DR.Oogle are supplied voluntarily by patients. While DR.Oogle recognizes the patients' constitutional right to offer public praise or criticism of your practice, DR.Oogle also recognizes that the patients' praise or criticism may have a direct impact on your practice and livelihood.

All reviews on DR.Oogle are written and published by patients. DR.Oogle is not a State Dental Board and will not independently investigate the truth or merit of contentious claims and counter-claims made by doctors and patients. DR.Oogle will, however, remove all user-supplied reviews that DR.Oogle knows to be false, offensive or harassing in nature. Since DR.Oogle does not pre-screen or approve any user-supplied reviews, it is very important that you provide us immediately with conclusive evidence why you consider user reviews to be false, offensive or harassing in nature!

DR.Oogle maintains as private and confidential all information concerning individuals posting genuine patient reviews. DR.Oogle's policy is to withhold any information concerning individuals posting genuine patient reviews unless we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a court order or a formal demand by the state or federal authorities. My office information is incorrect. How can I change it?
DR.Oogle will remove incorrect information upon request from a dentist. However DR.Oogle does not update individual dentists' office information. It is the dentist's responsibility to maintain the accuracy of their practice listing. Dentists may update their office information here.

Review Removal Procedure by Registered Dentists
Registered dentists may request removal of reviews they know to be false, offensive or harassing in nature by clicking on "Remove" button in their control panel. DR.Oogle will try to contact the patient and request the patient to re-confirm their review and to provide additional information about it. If the patient fails to re-confirm the disputed facts in their review, their review will be removed. If the patient re-confirms some or all of the disputed facts in their review, DR.Oogle will examine the review, and may remove it and/or discuss it with you. Your listing will be able to accept new reviews about your practice. If we cannot resolve this matter to your satisfaction we will permanently remove your listing. To register and request a removal of a review click here. Recreation of a new listing after an original listing has been removed is an unauthorized use of DR.Oogle's service, and DR.Oogle will pursue all remedies for such unauthorized use.

Review Removal Procedure by Unregistered Dentists
Unregistered dentists may request the removal of reviews they know to be false, offensive or harassing in nature by using the email form below or mailing your request to our PO Box address. Unregistered dentists must provide conclusive evidence why they consider the review to be false, offensive or harassing in nature along with their review removal request. DR.Oogle will remove all reviews and all other listing information about the complaining dentist. Recreation of a new listing after your original listing has been removed is an unauthorized use of DR.Oogle's service, and DR.Oogle will pursue all available remedies for such unauthorized use.

Message to Patients about Review Removals
Currently, only 10% of all dentist reviews on DR.Oogle are negative or critical in nature. Most dentists who receive positive patient reviews and feedback are pleased to see patients spreading their "word-of-mouth" reputation on the internet. However, DR.Oogle receives complaints and legal threats from some dentists too. In some instances, in addition to threatening DR.Oogle, dentists demand that DR.Oogle disclose the patient's identity so that they could pursue legal action against their own patients. DR.Oogle maintains as private and confidential all information concerning individuals posting patient reviews and will not release your information to dentists without a court order or a formal demand by another legal authority. DR.Oogle is The Good Dentist Guide. DR.Oogle is devoted to discovering information about dental practitioners in your community who receive consistently positive feedback from other patients. DR.Oogle strives to ensure reliability of positive user reviews and it has extensive compliance procedures to prevent dentist rankings manipulation by both patients and dentists. DR.Oogle does not dedicate its resources to discovering who the "worst dentist" in your community may happen to be! Practitioners who do not wish to be reviewed by patients or do not wish to be listed on DR.Oogle for any reason whatsoever can have their name and practice information removed from DR.Oogle. For patients with serious concerns about the conduct of certain dental practitioners we suggest contacting your State Dental Board.

DR.Oogle believes that public interest considerations warrant that patients have access to independent information about dentists before selecting their dental practitioner. This information includes not only other patients' feedback about dental practitioners, but also information about how certain dentists respond to patients' concerns. In the interest of promoting public discourse and keeping patients apprised of demands, threats or legal actions initiated by dentists against their own patients and/or DR.Oogle, DR.Oogle will prominently publish on its website any and all dentist and attorney correspondence, the statements of claims, court transcripts and other legal correspondence pertaining to such threats or legal actions.
